Description "Epiphany Dream"

I killed the sun today . . .
Daylight drips from the clouds
like a luminous rain.

Each drop on my skin
exposes my guilt and
renews my sin.

The moon now alone,
swims through the
vermilion sky.

"Why must the world die?" she asked.

"If I can't have love, then no one will again" I said.
"If the Dreaming God will not wake to end my pain,
then maybe the scream of a dying Sun will stir him . . .
or kill him. It matters not to me."

I once knew a girl
named Epiphany Dream.
I killed the world . . .

. . . love.
