When Widget was having baby Alicia, her amount of flatulence was increasing at one stage until she changed from overalls to looser fitting clothes soon before her navel popped out (which her flatulence rate dropped soon after), and then started increasing again during the later pregnancy stages.This is a common problem in pregnancy, especially during the later stages when the baby inside presses against the mother's intestines and possibly other parts of the mother's digestive system - it can also happen to pregnant animals as well.
