Description I got the idea for this from the Round The Twist episode "A Good Tip For Ghosts" from the first series.
In this particular episode was a shell of one of the first colour TV sets sold in Australia when colour broadcasting started in 1975, which is Sharp C-1831X, of which had problems where the electrolytic capacitors dried out and broke down.
At the same time, Japanese colour TV sets dominated sales in Australia, according to the number of models made in Japan being available.
