Yeah, I've spent a couple of nights on it where I just really lost track of time. I also used lots of layers O__O like....LOTS

sure did. i don't use layers in my work, though my brother keeps urging me too. he's a layer freak, uses a lot of layers. but his works are all masterpieces

Well a lot of the proffessional artists say that using many layers is the key to creating great digital work. I'm always trying to use more, but I am afraid that if I use too many that I'll just get confused o3o;;

oh, i suppose they'll need a lot of dedication and focus
for me, i attempt to achive great art by focusing only on the idea itself. like if you see most of my work, you'll see that i don't pay too much to detail - i just want the message to be out there. but i agree that perfecting the small details is essential to making the artwork a unique and memrable masterpiece, that's why i really like this one
