Description
Long before NEST came to be, there was the Unified Intelligence Taskforce, also known as UNIT. Formed on the 2nd November 1968, this task force has been investigating with alien threats that have been coming to Earth. The taskforce was believed to have included several members of the WWII unit known as Iron Company, and has since expanded its ranks. Amongst the latest recruits are those not of this world, but in fact of another known as Cybertron. These Cybertronians, under the command of Commander Pyro, have offered their services to UNIT to help them protect their planet.

The leader of the Cybertronian members who joined UNIT, Pyro is incredibly upbeat and positive, and always enjoys a bit of banter with whoever’s present, even trying to spark a conversation with the enemy. His teammates are able to cope with it, sometimes even enjoying it, but it annoys Pyro’s enemies to great lengths, particularly his arch-rival Clench. Pyro has also earnt the honour of being the first and only Cybertron to have earnt a knighthood on Earth.

Ironfist is the chief engineer of this group of Cybertronians, and works alongside UNIT’s scientists to produce weapons to fight off Decepticons and other alien incursions. Ironfist has never been one for the limelight, and considers his inventions and the students he’s trained as his successes. Such students have included Proxima, Zetar and, unfortunately, Aquablast, whom UNIT has frequently had trouble with due to his allegiance with the Stormtroopers and Clench.

Motormouth is among those affected by a rare condition that causes his internal energon systems to mutate Energon ingested into his body into a red strain of Energon that gives Motormouth enhanced speed. While not Blurr fast, Motormouth is incredibly proud about his powers, and brag about it to all his teammates. He’s in as much danger of being punched in the face by his fellow Autobots as he has by the threats that he faces.

An Autobot who was formerly a member of the Sixth Cyber-Ninja Clan, Road Rocket was trained by Kick-Off in the art of kick-boxing under Master Yoketron’s supervision. Since graduating, he joined up with Pyro’s team on Earth, and has taken his spare time to teach some of the younger Cybertronians and humans in kick-boxing to further hone their defensive skills.
