ITS THE GAL! Osmi (as well as the other Regions characters) is a regio, which is a typically canine-based species that have all evolved to suit their regions best. I (totally creatively) named the species regios. Osmi is a Desert regio which means they're much more resistant to heat, a lot of them have scaly rock-like growths like Osmi does (the things on the back of her neck as well is what looks like her ears,) as well as an ability to survive without water for a much longer time than any other regio. Each regio within a region is different but they typically do share a few traits like the heat resistance for the Deserts.
