I did this for a footer contest over at [link]The Rules
Without further delay, they are:
Footers cannot exceed a width of 300 pixels or a height of 60 pixels (300x60)
The total file size should not exceed 30k. This limit also applies to any external content or data you decide to load.
Footers must not contain any sound.
Footers must not contain objectionable content.
Footers can be animated (Flash, Livemotion, Flix), or they can be static graphics.
You may not submit more than 2 footers for this contest. Judging becomes difficult with too many entries.
Footers must be original work - blatant stealing of someone else's idea is frowned upon. This does not apply to graphics such as stock photos though.
Have fun - besides, you will also get a chance to show off your footer with every post you make on the forums
