no photoshop/filter - i should call it Filter Free at 50. that is, however, the same gown i wore on my honeymoon 18 years ago.
this is me doing my best to accept aging gracefully. i don't do botox and god knows i'd love to see that crease out of my forehead gone but botox is temporary, etc. basically, i spent a lifetime in therapy learning to love myself and as i grow older it just seems to go against everything i need to remember about self love to not accept things like showing my age.
i still feel beautiful enough of the time. i don't feel "hot" or "young" but that's honestly o.k. i had my days and i lived them vivaciously and have little to no regret. i want to show my son to love himself and that you can stay fit, be happy for an inner glow, eat right, etc - that healthy is better than plastic pharmaceutical pretty anyway
don't get me wrong = i will forever support a human's right to do whatever makes them feel good about themselves and whatever they want to do with their own body. no judgment. it's just not for me.
51 in two weeks. wow. time flies people = live your life to the fullest and as real as you possibly can.
