the pose and the facial expression is great .. you really seem like you lost in the pathways of boredom .. and the sharp contrast between the whites and blacks gives a bit' of sadness but at overall this photo is more "cute" and less "sad" .. the balloons are adding the sadness .. but like a child's sadness not like a lover's .. background is nice too , curves add much to the scale of black .. i love it ..

lovely shot, i love the patterning of black balloons and dress, and the contrast of that rough wall and the smooth, shiny balloons as well....
great expression - to me it all feels rather tongue in cheek, in quite a nice way... the angle at which the balloons cut the frame is also very nice...
