last of the spring blossoms - i only had a chance to shoot in the backyard for the VERY SHORT spring blossom season we had here in Texas (about 2 weeks, maybe 3). this is a redbud tree - more purple at times. so there's peach, pear and redbud for me - and the cardinal that hangs out with me
this one reminds me of those faint asian inspired blossom art pieces - pinks, browns, muted hues

Spring feels so far away now... I do miss the blossoms, so much different from the fall leaves! Quite delicate, not so "crunchy" ...

Very nice, but I'm jealous. We still have snow and ice here (down to 6 tonight) so I have to keep waiting before I can capture any blossoms. *hearing the furnace kick on again*
