A raven flew by the window tonight
A sign telling pain will come
The feeling of death spreading in our veins
We will see faces with blood running down

There's no such thing as peaceful war
Fighting will mean blood
Hatred is all that we feel in your hearts
And hate can never be good

I saw a bird quietly eating oats
A farmer running to get near
He’s only protecting what he think is his
But the growths of the earth is ours to share

The people will be loyal to their master
Good words will make them fight
Small children killing their own fathers
That's what we'll see this night

I heard a bird screaming in the dark
Cries so full of hurt and pain
I close my ears not to hear them
His screaming is in vain

“As long as we get what we want
The way we get it is never a sin
This war is worth every life
As long as the side you're on win”

This is how our leaders think
The people will do as they say
Cause when you want power and money
There is no other way

I saw a raven lying in the park today
Sleeping on a bed of blood
I wish I could’ve prevented his death
May his soul rest for good
