This is really great! I love the details that only appear after a closer inspection; the birds racing through the trees, and that deer add to the magical and harmonial feeling of this piece! Plus technically, the coloring is fabulous, and you'ver personified the animals very gracefully!

Thank you! I painted the trees in the background with leaves and branches first, but they stole focus from the foreground so I brought out the Big Blur Brush.

Generally it's hard for me to know if I would personally see it as an Anthro piece. But regardless, it's a good demonstration of skill and composition. The warm colors used are also a highlight here. Thumbs up.

I don't see it as anthro, that's more a mix of human and animal. Like human neck and shoulders, straight legs...or is that furry? *confused* Anyway, thank you for your comment!

ha ha ha, i hate to ruin these touching moments you're all having but this painting reminds me of my childhood too; when i was young my dad told me the one about the bear meeting the rabbit in the woods and asking him, "well hello Rabbit, does poop stick to your fur?" ha ha well anyway if you've heard that one before you can imagine why i find this so funny. the painting is great though, very cute
