I accidentally watched a film called "Squatters" on Friday evening; ever since then I haven't been able to get this song out of my head. Hauntingly beautiful like Bon Ivor himself this is Vancouver Sleep Clinic and my god I think I died somewhere down the line when I thought this piece could be something "peaceful" because as soon as I saw the images and this song was playing in the background everything just fit together like a long lost puzzle... wish my life could fit together that easily again. I like the idea of "returning to the ground" as a beginning, as counting your blessings and moving on. But the heartbreak in me added tears and now it looks like I've done the classic "I've just broken up with someone sad piece of artwork" move. I guess I have.. I even looked back at my last broken up with someone sad piece and I think this is a little less bloody and kinda morose. It's inevitable, every good thing must come to an end.
