I was looking for something to do while stuck at a Magic convention in Charlotte, NC, and the idea of a vampire queen came to mind. Almost immediately I was really liking how the pose and camera angle looked, then once all the design and colors came together I was really proud of how she turned out. From mostly a distraction, to one of my better pieces. Plus having fun with all the excessive amounts of blood magic, thinking about how to really get the look of a liquid and blood's coagulated nature, all was a bevy of fun and new opportunities.This was a real surprise with how many new elements I had fun with, mostly coming from a whim. Hope you guys enjoy!
