Description
I print my reference image out on 6 8.5"x11" sheets of paper and tape it together. I tape it to the underside of the paper and use a light box and a Copic warm gray multiliner to get the form down. Once upon a time I considered this "cheating" but now I think of it as a massive time saver. Also I can work straight in to marker and not have to worry about blocking things in, pencil erasures, etc. It saves several frustrating hours. And in the end, people care about the finished piece, not the path it took to get there.
