I dig this. Especially more so when I found out you did the mask. Complexity via simplicity there, and I'm big on wicked looking illustrations of that style. Nice. And yeah, doing work like that in Photoshop is tough, huh? If you ever get a chance, get Illustrator! It's so clean n' nice... or maybe you have it already... okay, moving on.
The only complaint I have here is the positioning of the mask. What I would do (and this is just me) is center it up more so with the middle of the image. So it fits in more like a puzzle, and isn't hanging out of the center area on the top and bottom. And get rid of the white outline around the image. It's too distracting IMO. Also, clean up around the center image, so it's kept only in the center and not elsewhere. Basically what I mean to say is, with a clean looking focal point, you should clean up the rest of the image to make it crisp and structured.

hey seven20, misery supposed to give inspiration. he is one of the best artists in the community so you should expect most of them get inspired by him. anyway i think this is nice even if i'm not mad with green.

yes i made the mask. it was damn hard too. psp 5 has no vectors so i had to fuse ellipses and stuff. thats why this took me so long.
