So if anyone has seen Z ummeng's work with their interpretation with Hollow Knight characters, then that is where this general design idea comes from. I absolutely love their work so I let that inspiration help me create Reaper and Caretaker in this sort semi realistic style.

And I have to say, Reaper looks exceptionally frightening and just the perfect amount of unhinged. And is that... iridescence????

And Caretaker, trying to be chill decided I'm going to paint my forehead....seems logical.
