Description
Since I already completed the assignment of drawing a greek statue, I decided to draw the vase of flowers again, which was on a white sheet with an orangey red one as a backdrop. I did everything in charcoal, but then I used a few old chalky pastels (at least that's what I think they were... they were kind of distintigrating) from the art closet to add a few touches of color to the flowers and leaves. Then my teacher commanded me to put the ENTIRE THING in color... buy making a big streak of red on it so I'd be forced to finish it.
Tools Used: extra soft vine charcoal, compressed charcoal, colored chalk/pastels
Time Taken: 1 class (3 hours)
