Description My great grandmother passed away over 10 years ago. She always had this plant in her window that she'd barely water and it grew like a weed. For the past 10 years, I've taken care of it. Over the past few months, they have all been dying off. Every planter, every soil I used, no matter how much or little I watered it, one by one they have died. Simply rotted. Only one is left.

It's a Sansevieria hahnii... they always grew so prolifically, but now, it's so fragile. It may be strange to be heart broken over a plant... but it's hard not to.

Sorry to hear about such a terrible thing happening, Sibling....

However, you could always buy a new one once this one completely passes on. It could be like continuing a sort of lineage, though you've expressed your distaste for children before.

Maybe in homage to your grandmother then?

I'll be hoping you'll feel better, you can talk to me about anything, you know!
