Description
The Dragon Knight chuckled before gasping in pain. "Well, this is a bit embarrassing. And after talking such a big game, too."The Green Knight walked up to his fallen foe, looking damaged but still standing tall. "You were still a formidable opponent."
"Toughest one yet?"
". . ."
"Heh, if you have to think about it, I'll take it as a no. Not surprised. I knew my time was up."
"What?"
"You can feel it, right? Some of us knights... are getting physically weaker. Though, I gotta admit, that's not true for the next few." The Dragon Knight coughed. "Those next three? . . . They're gonna be tough."
". . . But there should be four left."
"Huh? Ah. . . Right. Android's dead. No if ands or buts about it."
"I see."
"You know what's messed up about that? . . . I think you would have liked Android. It's really a shame... you never... got to. . ." The Dragon Knight let out his death sigh.
". . . I wish I could have met all of you under different circumstances. Still, my quest must continue."
The Green Knight then buried the Dragon Knight, the warrior's tomb bathing in the light of the sun with his great gauntlets marking the grave. With the sun shining on his back, the Green Knight walked away to continue his quest.
