this love must be true...
i feel as if i've looked all over...
every stone overturned and yet...
i cannot find you...
i have looked in all the wrong places...
and in all the right...
but i still cannot find my one true love
i cannot find you...
i've searched in the depths of my heart...
and in the emotions of others...
you're all i desire...
if i could only find you...
now that i've realized...
that it was meant to be...
i have certain emotions...
that have been far exceded by life itself...
these emotions are...
for you...

I never realized how much you'd mean
I never knew you were everything I need
I push you away, scared of what to do
Did anyone ever do it to you?
Amazing how one look can turn it around
Just a few words--to everything we've found
Someone to make me feel alive
Stop the tears I don't want cry
Where were you when I died,
When pain was so easy to find?
I have what I need to respect
The times when I had no regret
Look back to the past
It all went by so fast
But here I arrive now
Don't want to question how
What matters is that you love me
What is it that they don't see?:
You are everything I live for
Who'd ask for anything more?
Someone to love them
When every chance was too slim
Please hold my hand the whole way
And together we'll get through today
Now that everything can be clear
I want you to draw me near
Somewhere where they can't hurt me
To show you everything I can be

The poems to one another are beautiful. Through all of your fears and insecurities born in the past, you have found one another. I think that is wonderful.
jsenn's digression, please bear with me: The Bible says that a man should love a woman as much as he loves himself and be willing to give his life for her. Nowhere does the Bible say that a woman should love a man. Apparently God knows what we must learn, that a woman will respond to the love a man has for her, and that response will become love.
So it was interesting to see your lady say, what matters is that you love me, and she said that after she knew her need for security, protection and companionship would be met with you. It is not cold and hard for a man to see this. It was intended, and if you love her unabashedly, you will spend your lives together. (that does not mean you won't have troubles, LOL, it just means you won't go through it alone.)

That is a great poem. Shows true love between 2 individuals. And each other expresses there feelings in there own way. Great job.
