Description Remembrance

I have visited this place before,
but before now,
there was much much more.

With you away,
this place is different,
it all seems so gray.

I wish I could take it all back,
and do it over again,
but now I'm on a different track.

So I sit here all alone,
remembering how it was,
letting out a sorrowful moan.

I'm heading downward without you,
remembering what we had,
remembering all we went through.

But this time my tears are cold,
life is dragging me down,
and there is nothing for me to grab ahold.

Really great poem, man... I've never lost a close family member... I mean, all my relatives live in South Africa, so it didn't really mean anything to me when my grandmother died... Or my grandfather... But I can only imagine how you must feel.

sad,sorrowful words.long ing for things that are lost to us,is unfortunately a great part of the human tragedy.but so is the growth that we can experience as a result of those losses.i'd love to see a part 2 of this-of how you are able to overcome that sorrow.nice poem.

these words are lovely. love makes folks blind to reality and therefore, in many instances, people say things that they do not mean. its unfortunate, but it does happen.
