Every time I see Johnny, his hair changes. One issue, he has a full head of hair. The other, it's just two large antanae-looking strands. Whats the deal?

Well... If you actually read the comic, You would now that 1. in issues 1-6 his hair is normal
Issue 7 (after he has came back to earth from heaven and hell) The trip back burned most of his hair off. So all he has are those antennae/horns.
*Sorry if i'm not 100% correct about issue numbers exactly, haven't re-read them in like a month or 2
