It ticks on and on,The stopping point unknown,
Yet when it stops we know,
We know not only by sound,
But by sight and that gut feeling,
This clock doesn’t count up,
But down from start to end,
What clock is this? You ask me,
It is the clock within all of us,
Ticking until the battery runs out.

Man, pretty deep with this one; it's something evident within us all yet, in my thoughts, we simply go on living our lives, somewhat ignoring our clock...until the day comes in which it will no longer be ignored...in which, by our ignorance, it ceases upon us.
