Beautiful imagery, and quite true in the form in which you wrote this. I do believe, though, that, over time, this river may have changed a bit; it usually takes 'fish' longer and longer to reach the end of this 'river', mainly because of the advancements and will to keep swimming.

Nicely written; keep up the goodness.
