Jacob is the main character of the story. He is just over 6 feet tall. He is a little light but has the frame that will allow him to develop his body later on. He is a very relaxed sort of guy who does not let to much bother him (as demonstrated by his stance...and lack of shoes ).

Jacob has never really been in a fight (wrestling around on the ground at age 12 does not count) so his fighting ability is cloudy at the beginning but he finds out soon enough...
