It's definately mother-like. The brush strokes remind me of feathers almost. Like the mother bird and how she comforts her young. Then she eats their food for them and vomits it back upon them. Then things just get icky, really icky - but in a motherly kind of way. Like how even though it feels like shit to be covered in this vomit in the long run its good for you because it's the food that helps you grow - mother knows best. I guess...
