I was almost convinced this was a photograph! Amazing work! I absolutely love the vivid color and the definition of their trunks and legs. The excellent contrast makes this very eye catching and the warm tone is rather inviting! This is so lively and skillful, and the painting technique (especially evident in their forms) has a wonderfully defined look that it almost looks molded and adds a great deal to the overall depth of the piece. I have to ask if this what program you used, I don't ever see myself able to wrangle photoshop into producing this style, then again that's mainly my fault.
