This took me around 3 hours to do (though I got really frustrated with the chain mail T__T). Done with reference material and my mechanical pencil.Prince Caspian and the Chronicles of Narnia (c) Disney and C.S. Lewis

I'm still giggling over 's comment about scanners: I think ALL of us have a strong "hate streak" for our scanners (...they DO screw up the contrasts and details...POO!)!
This is wonderful! I love the expression--again, very intense and very well-captured! I applaud your chain-mail--I'm sure I'd've torn out my hair before getting it to look half this good! Excellent shading on the face, and those eyes just leap right out (always one of the first things I notice in portraits: the eyes!)--also very good movement and realism in the hair. Lovely (as the actor himself is!
