"Too much hope is the opposite of despair. An overpowering love may consume you in the end..." -- Vincent Valentine, Final Fantasy VII --as Vincent Valentine from Final Fantasy VII. His cosplay was (and still is, imo) by far the best Vincent cosplay I'd ever come across.
When I stumbled across this particular photograph - [link] last year, I immediately fell in love with it.
~nemurutenshi-yue graciously gave me permission to draw it though I'm afraid I'd been putting it off for about half a year because of other stuff.
Anyhow, I finally got down to finishing it. Took me about two days. Did this in my sketchbook with F, 6H, HB, 2B and 8B pencils.
I made some minor modifications to the drawing from the original photograph including his eyes using [link] as reference.

perhaps the toughest but well worth the challenge I really like the pose the dramatic air and with it in black adn white it works so well to give ambiance .

Positively GREAT drawing and the only Final Fantasy game I've ever played is the very first one (on Playstation 1). The characters in the newer games are much more in depth and complicated and I especially love the way you rendered the hair, the leather and the metal! Very nicely done!

thats crazy! if you lean back and look at it, it looks like a photograph, butu then when u look closer its sketch so thats like really REALLY good!!
