My good friend is a Heathers fan, so I made these sketches for her.

GENDERBENT HEATHERS, FUCK YEAH!

Some notes on these messy sketches:

-I didn't draw Betty Finn and the Gay Jocks since I'm still planning on their genderbent design. Once I've thought of it, I'll start drawing them.

-The Heaths here wear their own personal varsity jackets that are color coded, these ARE NOT jackets given by the school. Heath Chanceler had his dad make a varsity jacket for himself and when he formed the trio, had two more made.

-Guyvronica here also wears the varsity jackets, he's just clearly tying it around his waist as a way of showing that he's prepared to face the incoming shitstorm thanks to his yandere school-shooter bae

-I had a bit of a problem with thinking of JD's genderbent name. I was initially thinking of "Jade", but I wanted it to be a bit closer to JD. So I decided to make Jade his genderbent's actual name while JaDa is a nickname (like JD~!). It's pronounced Jay-Dah btw, and the J and D are capitalized since genderbent JD wanted to be cool n shit.

-The reason Guyvronica doesn't have a name that rhymes with or is alliterative to "Veronica" is because I still wanted to go with the theme naming. If you notice, our anti-heroine and her chwubby friend both share a first name with Archie Comics characters (Betty and Veronica). This is supposed to fit in with their characterization since in the Archie Comics, Veronica is haughty and a bit of a bitch but still has her heart in the right place while Betty is the sweet and somewhat naive nice girl. Now, the character Reggie Mantle is basically a genderbent Veronica in the comics, so I thought it might be fitting and all. Especially since as much of a jerkass he is, Reggie still shows his softer side every now and then, it's just underneath many layers of asshole. Meanwhile, I decided to give Guytty (Betty), the name Archie since the protagonist of the comics is known for being quite the nice, if goofy guy (though he also has his unsavory moments, but not to the extent of Reggie). They still keep their last names though, for the sake of being recognizable.
