Description
The combination of being stuck in bed sick for a couple of days and very excited about 'Prometheus' lead to this redesign. This concept leans more toward Hans Giger's earlier design, but with an emphasis on practicality for film. The variations from the original Alien are subtle, but fans will pick up on them. I don't often put my work online, but I know a few friends on here who are probably also eagerly awaiting Prometheus and might get a kick out of this. It's very much a work in progress, but I'm feeling good about it so far.Related content

really good! I recently watched Prometheus and of course it gave me endless amounts of inspiration. I love H.R Giger, his art is inspired by his dreams and night terrors that he endures almost every night. The film is fantastic with some of his art work and it's amazing to see where the Alien actually came from!

I really love this! I rarely comment but this is worth the time to give kudos. Very faithful to the original which is my favorite I love the removal of the dorsal spins and the translucence of the creature. I really hope you post more did you have a go at the living "Space Jockey"?

This is an Amazing Concept drawing!
By looking at the shape of the alien's cranium and the mandible suggest its a more intelligent.
I really like the level of details you put into this xenomorphe.

This is seriously amazing, if an Alien redesign looks like this in Prometheus I definitely couldn't be happier. I love the Giger designs the most and I see where your inspiration's come from, this is definitely one of my all time favourites, hell I wouldn't be surprised if this was real movie concept art
