Description Note: This is artwork I drew three years ago.

------------------------------------------------------------------------

Anime Series: Sakura Taisen
Begin Date: 3/2/2003
End Date: 3/6/2003
Hours Worked: 13 hours
Material Pencil, Paper, 05 Pilot VBall Grip Extra Fine, Photoshop

This is the first time I started using Photoshop filters extensively on my drawings. Some filters used are blur, noise and emboss.

I went back inking my drawings with a pen which produced better results. And I also learned how to use the Replace Color command, which eliminate the grey pencil garbage found when I scanned in the picture. In my last drawing (Card Captor Sakura) I learned how use adjust the levels to give a bolder line image.

I am still not satisfied how the colors seen to bleed into the image so I have decided to use a different CG technique when I colour my next drawing.

Base on some feedback I have made the size of my drawings larger.

Ri Kohran and The New Machine

Ayame Fujieda and Ri Kohran are walking down the hallway.

Ayame Fujieda: Kohran, these boxes came for you.

Ri Kohran: What are in the boxes?

Ayame Fujieda: I don't know. There's no return address.

Ayame and Kohran entered the docking area. There stood in front of them, were three large wooden boxes. Kohran got a crow bar and pried open the side of one of the boxes. Metal gears and metal bars spilled out from the box. Kohran picked up a large sheet of paper from inside the box.

Kohran: These are the instructions on how to assemble the machine, but it doesn't state what this machine is for.

Ayame: What are you going to do with it?

Kohran: Well there's only one way to find out what this machine is for.

For the next three days Kohran spent her time assembling the machine. Night and day she toiled putting the large machine together. On the fourth day Kohran had finished assembling the machine. It was 2:00 am in the morning and she was the only one in the building. Kohran scanned the machine for any buttons or switches, but she only found one button.

Kohran: Hmm...the button is written in English.

Kohran takes out a English-Chinese dictionary and looks up the word written on the button.

Kohran: The word means "start".

Kohran pushed the button and the machine came to life. The machine left off a pile of steam and the gears started to move.

Kohran: It seems to be running, but I still don't know what this machine does.

Just then two large mechanical arms came out from the top of the machine and grabbed Kohran and lifted her up in the air.

Kohran: Hey! Put me down!

The machine held on its grip and two more mechanical appendages popped up from the machine. These appendages had a roll of sticky bandages. The machine started wrapping Kohran up with the rolls of bandages starting from the ankles.

Kohran: What are you doing?! Stop!

The machine continued to wrap Kohran up from the ankles to waist.

It reminds me "The Incredible Machine", but in the game you never had to place pieces to create a machine that would wrap a girl ^^
