Description
This is a piece done just for fun. Of all the Harrison Ford movies my all time favorite has always been Deckard from Bladerunner. Bar none, some of the greatest visuals in any movie ever. I also love the idea of taking a movie, TV show, or book that would likely never be made into an animated series and reimagine it as if it were a cartoon. Whether it's Bladerunner, Goonies, Breakfast at Tiffany's or whatever, I love the cartoon look applied to a subject matter that normally looks serious and real.I want to do a lot more of these from other movies, TV, or books and am open to suggestions so fire away and let me know what you'd like to see transformed into an animation. I'll pick a few and see what I can come up with!

Personaly I think this is one of the best sci-fi movies ever made. You've managed to catch the whole feel of the movie in one image. I think this would be an awesome animated series - as long as you had a hand in it. As for suggestions, here's one way out in left field: 2001 - The Animated Series. I know, impossible to sell to the networks. Great job on Bladerunner!

lol considering your recent Tron work, I'd love to see Tron Legacy cartoonified. It'd be really interesting to see a film that is already very heavily CGI turned into a full on 2D animation. A step backwards technically, but maybe a step forwards artistically?

YES! Bladerunner never ceases to amaze me after reliving it on my television set over and over again. You captured the essence of it and illustrated it in full effect. As Tim and Eric would say, "Great Job!"

yeah sure. it was kind of a shock seeing your piece though. For one thing Blade Runner being such a total Mind F*ck after watching it two how professional it looked and three that i saw another piece that looked so similar in nearly every way

And that's why I wonder if it was my actual piece published without permission or if I've been swiped in some way. When I submitted this piece over a year and a half ago it seemed to make the rounds around the internet so it was seen by a lot of people so it being published without my knowledge or being swiped wouldn't surprise me. Let me know if you figure out the mag it was published in or where I can see the image.

LOVE IT. And yes, Deckard is probably one of Harrison Ford's greatest performances. He was constantly cranky because he had weird stuff going on with his family at the time or something like that. A death or something.
