a piece of something that was,is,
and will still be,
the Dunes

Taken at Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore!!!
Technique, I exposed for the beach floor and set up my camera on timer, then when the timer started, I placed my Singh Ray filter to cut down the exposure from the sky...then click and I got this...
Technique learned from
Mild sharpening and resizing was done in photoshop and that was all

i agree with you man...its from the polariser, theres an area that constantly gives a darker shade with my photos

im not kidding when i tell you before i read the artist comments i knew the process you had used was another one of the more accurate exposure methods.
it simply looks great.
the only thing i would have loved is a lower viewpoint with all of the shadow in the shot and an extra second exposure.

YAY...i also agree with you! If I went lower, I would have captured more detail in the sand...I guess I wasnt thinking very accurately...it was getting late and the beach was empty and I was a little scared so I was in a hurry!!! Crazy stuff happens around here you know and I dont want to be 'missing in action'
