Description
On the first day of annihilation, humanity watched in disbelief as monstrous anchors came hurtling from the sky tore into streams, rivers and oceans. Soon thereafter, people began to realise that the anchors were infact corrupting all sources of water, with blood. The world spiralled into chaos and people could only watch and wait for the impending destruction which preceded them...The Corruption.

Was actually a concept I stumbled upon while speedpainting. I thought the whole idea of a series of these was cool so I'm going to continue it.
The base elements were slapped on with artist oils then I refined it a tad - spending enough time as speedpainting permits. Very nice tools I must say.

But then came a young man who decided to atempt the impossible, an effort worth dieing for - to save his world even at the cost of his own life. He set out with a group of bandits to find the source of the coruption and destroy it so that what precious water was left could be used to sustain the dwindeling numbers of those alive. After all in the face of certain destruction what else can be done but fall fighting?
