“Listen, if I pretend to believe this nonsense is real, will you and/or Artistic call off the henchpony repertory theater over there?” Quibble asked.

While he asked, Rainbow tried struggling out of the chains with no luck, and her and Artistic glared at him as he said it. Rainbow sighed before she answered.

“They're not gonna listen to me or Artistic. They abducted us three.” said Rainbow in defeat.

“Oh, wow, so you're gonna stick with that script? O-Okay, fine. We're, we're in a Daring Do Adventure.” said Quibble, trying to play along.

Artistic then looks around to see what to use to distract the henchponies with, she then sees the pebble close to her. She then grabs the pebble using her back hooves, and grabbed it with her mouth as she then threw the pebble onto the other making a clunk noise which brought the henchponies attention.

“What was that?!” Pickpocket asked as he looked around.

“Daring Do. Thank goodness. We're over here.” said Artistic, lying to make them fall for it.

“Fan out! We can't let Daring Do rescue these three!” said Pickpocket as he looked at the others before he took off, looking for Daring.

The henchponies fans out to look for Daring. As they did so, Artistic then starts picking the lock while Rainbow tries struggling out of the chains, again with no luck.

“All four?! I mean, shouldn't at least one of them stay behind to guard us? Oh, oh, wait, the... No, because then it wouldn't be a terrible Daring Do adventure.” Quibble laughed as he slowly went back to sarcastic.

“Why did you do that, Artsy?” Rainbow asked her.

“So I can buy us sometime.” Artistic answered as she went back to picking the lock.

“It doesn't matter. We'll never solve the Griffon's Lock before they get back.” said Rainbow as she gave up on trying to escape.

But when she said that, Artistic was able to pick the lock and got themselves free, and Artistic looks at them while holding the Griffon’s Lock in her hoof.

“Okay, that was pretty good.” said Rainbow, shockingly and amazingly.

Artistic then throws away the lock.

“Quick, we've gotta get out of here and warn Daring Do!” said Rainbow, worriedly, as she grabs Quibble’s hoof and tries to pull him along with her, but Quibble denies it.

“No way. Just point me to the hotel and you two can play fanpony and hunt treasure out here all day long.” said Quibble as he lets go of her and walked a few feet away from her.

“Fine.” Rainbow sighed.

“Look, let's just say this is a Daring Do Adventucation, and the only way to get back to the convention is to go through it. So just follow us, and we'll lead you out. Deal?” said Artistic as she tries making Quibble a deal to get themselves out of there.

“I... Fine.” Quibble groaned as he undelightfully agreed.

They all then starts heading out.

“Maybe if I just leave you in the jungle, it'll convince you.” Rainbow grumbled under her breath.

Artistic gave her the glare before Rainbow finally shutted up. While they were walking, they then heard a clunk noise again, but this time, it was near them, they looked around to see where it was coming from, and when Artistic looked near her, she sees the amulet close to her.

“What the?” Artistic asked confusingly as she then picked up the amulet. She looked at it before she realizes that if Daring doesn’t have the amulet but she does, Caballeron would try to get it from her if he finds out, as she then thought to herself. ‘Oh no.’

“Wait, is that the amulet Daring was telling you about?” Rainbow asked.

“Yes, omg, idk how it got into my shirt, but if Caballeron finds out that I have it, he’s gonna try to get it from me and get the artifact before Daring does.” Artistic explained.

Rainbow then started to get worried.

“That’s not good.” said Rainbow.

“We need to hurry and get back to the convention.” said Artistic as she then places the amulet back into her shirt, and started trotting.

Rainbow and Quibble did the same, and Quibble kept talking on the way back. Rainbow pushes the leaves out of their way with her wings as they all went through.

“...which would make Daring Do left-hoofed, which we know is false, and that is everything that's wrong with Daring Do and the Trek to the Terrifying Tower. Now, the problems with the next book are even—” said Quibble as he kept talking til he was interrupted when Artistic places both hooves in between Rainbow and Quibble, making them stop as they stumble upon the bridge (like on the map).

“Oh, right. What Daring Do adventure would be complete without the precarious rope bridge?” Quibble asked sarcastically.

Artistic then gets up to the bridge and bangs on it with her hoof a few times to make sure it’s safe, she then hoof motions ‘come on’ as she then walks onto the bridge first, then Rainbow, then Quibble.

“Look, I'm all for making things feel as real as possible, but are these Adventu-cation ponies sure this thing is safe?” Quibble asked.

“Is it too "realistic" for you? Wouldn't want that on a Daring Do adventure, would we?” Rainbow asked.

If this were really a real Daring Do adventure, I'm sure I'd step on the wrong plank at exactly the wrong—” said Quibble before he was interrupted when he stepped onto the wrong plank and almost fell through the bridge. “Whoah!”

Rainbow and Artistic turns to him with a gasp.

“Quibble!” Artistic exclaimed as she then goes to him to try and pull him out.

Rainbow flew to him and tries to pull him out by the tail.

“Good thing this is all just a pretend adventure. Least we know all of this struggling won't make the bridge fall apart.” said Quibble.

When he said that, one rope of the bridge broke making the bridge flip upside down, with Quibble still hanging and Artistic holding on the ropes with her hooves. Rainbow flew to them.

“You need to get your money back.” said Quibble with a glare at Rainbow.

“Not helping, Quibble!” Artistic yelled at him.

When she said that, the last rope snapped, and the bridge broke as Quibble and Artistic started falling, and left with Rainbow flying above them. Artistic looks below her before she looks at her wings and spread them out.

Come on, wings, don’t fail me now. Artistic thought to herself as she then tries to flap with them. After sometime, she then flew up a little, feeling like she has control of it, and she flew to the rope where Quibble is tangled in and grabs it with her mouth and then flew down.

“D-Did she?” Rainbow asked herself shockingly.

As Artistic and Quibble flew/fall down, Quibble kept screaming, thinking that Artistic thought she was going to fly to their doom, but to their surprise, Artistic then flew up a little, and Quibble is gliding on water, like he’s jet skiing. Rainbow was still shocked, but snapped out of it and catches up with Artistic to help her. Artistic then was about to then have him go straight over the waterfall, which made Quibble worried. Artistic then wrapped the rope around the branch that’s over the waterfall, and pulls it with all her strength between her jaw, her hind legs, and her wings. Quibble was then pulled from the edge, and the rope broke, when it happened, he bumped on top of a few trees, while failing, but his fall broke when he slid off from the tree onto the ground and screaming while doing it but broke when he slid off the tree. Artistic and Rainbow then landed by Quibble.

“Hah! How's that for not possible?” Rainbow and Artistic asked him at the sametime.

“That was... awesome! I-I-I thought we... and then you, and the flying...! Wow, and I was like, "Where are you going?!" A-a-and then you swerved, and I was, I was, I was on the water, and then… Wow!” said Quibble, fanponying while devolving into hyperventilating gibberish, til he was talking normally.

While he said that, Rainbow and Artistic gave him the sly grins.

“Yeah. If you read that in a book, you might even think it was unrealistic.” Artistic stated to him.

“Okay, I'll give you that one. I mean we could have been done for.” said Quibble, before he then finally realized. “We could have been done for! W-What kind of Adventu-cation is this?! I mean, that's just, that's just bad business! What, what are these ponies thinking?!”

While he realized, Rainbow then looked unsatisfied and Artistic face hooved again.

“Right now?” said ???

They then looked at the direction on where it’s coming from, and Caballeron came out from the bushes.

“We are thinking that we should thank you for escaping.” said Caballeron with an evil grin before he hoof motioned for his henchponies to tie down.

Rainbow looked confused, Quibble looked unamused, and Artistic gave him the glare. With that, Rogue attacked Rainbow and tied her, while Pickpocket then did the samething to Artistic, and Riff tied the rope around Quibble’s neck like a leash.

“For you have led us directly to the Lost Temple of Chicomoztoc!” said Caballeron as he looked at the temple, as he then evil laughed.

Rainbow and Artistic was shocked on what they had done while Quibble rolled his eyes.
