Description

To be absolutely honest, the latest Matrix movie, "The Matrix Resurrections", was sadly nothing but a big disappointment for me personally. In that sense, instead of a sequel to the original trilogy, maybe a prequel movie would've been a better idea that could've explored the first version of the Matrix - and with that also, the first iteration of "The One". Inspired by that, I felt motivated to create this poster for a prequel movie called "The Matrix: Zero". With a cast of new characters it could've explored events within the very first Matrix (called "Version Zero"). Different from the Matrix Neo later finds himself in, this first Matrix is not as "perfected" yet as later versions. Therefore, the machines are still struggling to keep humans under control and the Matrix stable (with humans exploiting the bugs and glitches within the Matrix to their advantage). We would also witness a new person becoming the first "The One". This iteration of "The One" would also make different decisions than Neo's iteration in the later Matrix trilogy, thus shaping the course of what the Matrix would ultimately become. It's just a rough idea, but it's fun to think about the possibilities nevertheless.
In this poster, Ryan Gosling, Idris Elba, Eva Green and Hugo Weaving as Agent Smith make up the main cast of the movie. Enjoy!
