The Polymorphs do not seem intelligence, neither seem to be living beings. But these are creatures extremely astute and quick learning, and the main race of the Xennon's Air Squadron, by virtue of being excellent fighter pilots. Looking like a simple 200 lb slime bubble, the Polymorphs are nearly indestructible, taking into account the fact that they can change the shape of their bodies, become liquid, convert the corporal goo into corrosive acid - or even release poisonous gases from the body - and regenerate from smaller parts. Most of these single-celled creatures - probably the only existing macrocells, considered as the simplest intelligent beings of the galaxy, or maybe of the Universe - move by dragging their bodies on the floor, but some receive help from anti-gravity devices or bionic costumes made in Galvan Prime. Their home planet, Viscosia, is full of geysers and marshlands, and covered by a poisonous atmosphere. Only Polymorphs can live in such a hostile world, having little access to a tech level greater than 4.
