i had a funny unconventional idea in my head, what if in any sonic canon amy, bunnie, and sally teamed up a la sonic heroes? my idea goes like this, the girls would have their own trio within the freedom fighters while the guys go out to do their own thing, sometimes. and of course i imagined how the dialogue would be.

i think sally and amy would butt heads very often, like sonic and sally do (at least in satam; unsure about archie), except without all the romance and lovey-dovey stuff haha. i think interesting dynamics between female characters in sonic, or in most mediums in general actually, is something that is rarely explored. looking back, i see a source of inspiration in my own girlhood, while the bond of girlhood is different than the bond of boyhood, i think some bantering and playful teasing between companions is always a good way to set a sense of camaraderie amongst each other.

the best amy incarnation to me, her stc version, is the one i use the most without a doubt, the way she acted in that comic, well before [and after] she got written to lose all of her flaws because of the editor wanted a "positive role model" for girls. not only she is a competent fighter and resourceful (instead of being woefully love-sick to sonic like she is in a lot of her incarnations!) her personality and temperament is quite similar to sonic. a bit impulsive, a little hoydenish, a bit of a silly, yet bold, girl; basically her "rascal" moniker fitting her well. why do i emphasize this?

well, it colors an interesting perception of how these dynamics would influence the character interaction and eventually, development between amy and sally. as i mentioned before, i see something similar of what sally and sonic have, but amy just maybe a little more forceful without letting sally get what she wants, since the girl likes a challenge, and is hard to be swayed in another direction, with sally getting in a quite playful mood with her more often, being amused by her behavior and finding it somewhat endearing, but a bit irritating at times.

it's even more interesting, because they're both women who are naturally on the opposite sides of the spectrum in both personality and role in (their) society, and ah, im not ignorant to their fanbases general dislike of each other in the past. so it provides an spectacle-worthy effect i think.

as for bunnie and sally, they would have the most "normal" sisterbond out of the group, as you know, sally would be the one to use bunnie as a shoulder to cry on to vent out her emotions she normally doesn't let loose from her guard, since bunnie plays naturally a maternal / older sister role. with amy, bunnie would be a little assertive with her and try to lay down the grounds with her because she sees her as misguided, but naturally have a compassionate and caring attitude towards her.
