I'm planning on getting a tattoo very soon, probably within a week or so. After years of planning and designing different possible tattoos, I've finally settled on this.

It's a goldfish made of flower petals.

Why? Ever since I was little, we've always kept fat goldfish. There's even a small pond in the backyard for koi fish and my fat goldfish. I absolutely love how chubby and round they are... and how they look like they waddle when they swim. The flower petals are modeled after the apricot blossoms from the apricot tree in the backyard. Another sentimental childhood marker. My mother spends a lot of time in the garden and that apricot tree was the first thing that I was responsible for taking care of. Sadly both things are long since gone... fish don't live forever and my father cut down the tree for some reason.

I'll post up pictures of my tattoo when its finished and healed.

... one of my co-workers said it looks like a pokemon and I laughed. (:
