Thick
With the perspiration of fear
Of sadness
Loss hanging
In the moments before you breathe
Heavy
Dense
Choking away life
Before it's fully bloomed
You cry out
Rage
Pure Rage
But no sound can escape
And you're left
With nothing more
Than the burning in your chest
Screaming for answers
