You know, I was reading the crazy ex comic with GLaDOS and SHODAN, and I found myself thinking "she should have met HAL 9000" 
And then I clicked this. LOL!

1.) GLaDOS is Caroline and Caroline is Chell's MOTHER. e_e

I seriously doubt Caroline I Chell's mother. o-o Just take a look at the dates, do a bit of the math, and you'll see that Caroline would have been way too old to give birth to Chell...>.>

She was, she was. But I still doubt very much for the years. Valve said that Portal 1 took place around...2010. I think Chell was like 20 then. If she HAD been asleep, I don't think it would have been long, since Rattman moved her to the first in line, so MAX 5 years. So, Chell would be born in ~1985, give or take.
Aperture has been around for quite a while, founded in 1942-1943. Caroline is, at her youngest I say, 20 to be hired there. So from 1943 to 1985, she still has 42 years. So she's around 62, plus or minus quite a few years (I rounded off Chells and Caroline's ages quite in your favor, I think). That's a bit old to have a daughter...if she could have one (not saying it's impossible, just VERY unlikely).
Cara Mia's text was improvised on-the-spot. Plus, Valve officially stated that there wasn't anything they wanted to imply with it.
And I watched it already, because I had doubts myself. 
You can agree or disagree, but this is my opinion. I don't mind you thinking Glados is Chell's mom, but please don't state it as fact.

It says here the beginning of GLaDOS was in 1986, then roughly 13 years later GLaDOS was finished. That would have been at most, 1998 or 1999,(when it was abandoned) when Caroline was implanted into the chassis. So if Caroline (by your logic,) was twenty at that time, and the "bring your daughter to work day" was in May 2000, Chell would've already existed, (since it says at the end of her poster for her potato, the one that's huge and is growing up into the ceiling, spotted later in the game) that mean Caroline and Cave could have had her long before she was hooked up. ^^
Also, it says right here that Portal 2 takes place in 2010, as soon as Michelle awakes from suspension. So if Chell was 20 in 2010, then she must have been 10 during "bring your daughter to work day." She goes BACK to sleep in suspension, (you remember, at the beginning of the game?) and wakes up "9,999" years later. Unfortunately, it also states the the sleep suspension guide looses count after the fourth digit, so it could have been more than 9,000 years later.
I never did state it as fact, I really am just upset because of all the ChellDOS out there. It's (let's face it,) gross. I thought Portal was a respectable fandom befor those kinds of fans showed up. ^^
