Description
This is a sad scene for Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer 3: Rudolph’s Reign. Rudolph came in the cave because his father, Donner is ill. Donner is elderly now and he retired of being Santa’s sleigh member so his son can do the job.Storyline:
Rudolph: Dad?
Donner: Rudolph. My son. Is that you?
Rudolph: Yes, Dad. I’m here
Donner: I just wanted to tell you that I will be no longer sleigh leader now. You will now take over
Rudolph: What? Why me?
Donner: Well, I’m old now. My time has come
Rudolph: Dad. Can I tell something?
Donner: Of course
Rudolph: Dad, it’s that (sighs) I’m gonna be a dad too. Clarice is pregnant
Donner: Oh, son. That’s wonderful (coughing)
Rudolph: (gasps)
Donner: My has come, my son. And you won’t be alone, your friends will be with you as always
Rudolph: I’ll do my best
Donner: I know you will (raspy coughing)
Rudolph: Dad?
Donner: I’m so proud of you…….. s-son (peacefully dies)
Rudolph: (cries softly) Goodbye, Dad. (nuzzles his father) I’ll never forget you
(Outside)
Hermey: So what? Is Donner ok?
Rudolph: He’s gone
Clarice: Oh, no
Yukon Cornelius: (sniffles)
Mrs. Claus: You poor darling
The Bumble: (crying)
Clarice: I’m sorry for your loss, Rudolph
Rudolph: It’s ok, Clarice. It’s not your fault
