This is Fern, her element is earth. Now please don’t ask if she’s Forest’s sibling, she’s another daughter of Autumn and Winter. Her mate isn’t part of the element pack. Three wolf pups meet up with her, their names are Brook, Ocean, and Solar. Only Solar is Brook and Ocean’s best friend.

“Here you go, little ones. Give me some belly rubs” she smiles.

Solar carefully rubs it and feels it, it’s not as hard as he thought it would be. It’s kind of squishy! Fern’s feels so different from his mama’s belly which is really soft but strong and firm under the soft. Solar senses something move under Fern’s big belly, and he sees her skin move a little! The feeling is so unusual, but he can tell that there’s little pups on the other side moving to say ‘hi’ to him!

“Can we be friends with them when they’re born” Solar asks and smiles “Maybe this little pup will be like Leafy or Twig! Who knows! Yes, yes, we’ll be friends for sure” Solar murmurs as he smiles and nuzzles Fern’s soft belly fur and warm skin. Fern’s belly makes him all warm and happy in the magic of the moment. His past fears all fade away and he thinks that now he and Fern might become friends.

Brook looked to her brother and best friend as they nuzzle and knead Fern’s belly. Then she pads over to the mama wolf’s big belly. She touches it and feels a pup push against her paw through it mother’s belly from the inside. It was real! There ARE living pups inside Fern! “This is a miracle! To touch someone who’s still unborn but he or she is still here! This is amazing! And warmness of your belly, it’s so nice!” Brook wants to stay with Fern and her pups forever as she continues to paw at Fern’s belly with both of her front paws.

”It tickles!” Fern laughs “And it feels good, mmmhh… I’ve never felt good from a belly rub. My babies like you. They want to be friends with you as soon as possible, see”
