Name: Ilaria "Ila" Doris Gainswood

Bio:
Ilaria (or Ila as she is most often called) is the innocent and naive younger sister of Isis. She is very good-natured and is willing to give anyone and anything a chance. But that's not to say that she doesn't know how to stand up for herself when she needs to. Ila has a lot of ambition and sometimes doesn't know the trouble she gets herself into. Fortunately, she always had Isis to look out for her. Growing up in a military family, having to move around a lot and having a father being deployed for months on end, Ila and Isis were very close to each other despite their polar opposite personalities. After their father retired, her family settled down in a peaceful town in Nova Scotia called Raven Cove.

Ila has recently been accepted into a college in Echo City. So, having never been to a city nearly that big before, Ila and her parents thought it would be best if her sister, whom happened to live in Echo City, shared her loft with her.

Artist's Comments:
Ila is one of the characters who has undergone a dramatic change in her design. Albeit it's mainly in her hair. If you remember way back when Ila was first introduced in my comic, she had a mass of anime hair. which slowly became more tame as the comic went on. Also, I changed her from a blond to a brunette. Though this wouldn't be noticeable in my uncoloured comic, I felt that the colour worked better for her personality. That and Isis was also a blond.

By the way, the facial expression sketches is the quality I'll be shooting for when I start drawing the comic again.
