Legend whispered that she was a beautiful maiden, lost to the waters in a tragic accident. But in death, her allure turned sinister. With a mournful, echoing wail, she would lure curious wanderers to the water's edge. Entranced by her phantom song, they would step into the shallow ripples, unaware of the icy grip that awaited below.

As the night swallowed them whole, the lake's surface would ripple briefly before returning to its calm, deceptive facade. Those who glimpsed the scene would shudder, for they knew the drowned woman still hungered for company, her thirst for the living unquenchable, her haunting melody an eternal echo through the dark, moonlit waters."
