Sonic the hedgehog with my alien-like robots in the background. Done for my comic bright and shiny future.Sonic belongs to the sonicteam/sega and the robots belong and are designed by me.

As for the clothes why not so detailed. cuz.. i dunno i was trying out something new.
why clothes? he's in the future, where all the furry population has goen on to wear clothes cuz it's gotten colder. And society sees lack of clothes kinda like how we humans see nudity today.
and he'll stand out alot if he had none. He got his clothes from chalenging people to break dancing. being the acrobatic little bugger that he iz, it's a snap

i like it but it would look so much cooler as a background with only the robots, the sonic thing takes away from it, he just doesnt seem to be drawn with the same quality

The way Sonic games should be! ^_^ Don't get me wrong, I love the games the way they are, but I've always wondered what it would be like if Sonic went up against robots that actually looked lethal instead of the colorful "battle bots" style stuff.

AWWW HELL YEAH!!!!! Sonic rocks so much!!!! I don't really approve of your adding clothes to him (it kinda reminds me of the comics and cartoons, which I never liked), but the incredible quality of the drawing overall more than makes up for it! Wow! This is the first Sonic-related drawing that has a serious, respectable feel to it. I love it! Damn!

I've seen the work you've done before with rain effects. For some reason this one seems a little...I guess lazy compared to your other one's detail. The detail on Sonic seems a little lacking compared to the robots directly behind him. The work in shading the clothing looks awesome, but for some reason the lack of inked lines in the folds makes him too maybe a bit too cartoony? Maybe that's just me... It does make him stand out a bit bette tho...
The work on the lighting really makes this piece what it is tho! You did an awesome job on the glow of the red lights on the 'bots and Sonic's shoes. However the lack of darker shadows and some extra detailing on the bots in the back makes them look a bit odd next to the ones in the foreground. Nice design on them however.

Your skill shows it could have but there's nothing wrong with it alt all. I like it
well except the bottom of sonic's eye...shouldn't that be inked black? the outline?
And a bit of lighting could be in place...but then again the daarkness adds to the mood and makes it every distinctive to what you're probably planning to do with the comic.

The idea behind this piece is great. It's nice to see when you take something well known for almost everybody, and make a twisted version of it.
Yet, in my humble opinion, there is something misleading about Sonic. Maybe it's that the bright colors of the character make excessive contrast with the rest of the scene, or it is just that after seeing Sonic so much times, it is hard for me to see him in a different style of art.
Nevertheless, it is a very nice piece of artwork. I'd like to see a Sonic game with this concept...at least, as an experiment.
