Hey, DA! It’s been a while. So where have I been? At home, drawing on an iPad, that’s where. Yup, trying something new with my digital art. Most of my old works that’s on here were drawn on pencil and paper and coloured using a Wacom Graphire 2 in Photoshop. I got an iPad and apple pencil 2 years ago and the pandemic sorta gave me a chance to dabble in drawing once again. This was sketched and coloured completely in Adobe Fresco. It’s not a very robust drawing app and I sorely missed the full features of Photoshop. Maybe I should actually suck it up and get Procreate. Maybe someday, when I upgrade to an iPad pro. I wasn’t going for photorealism here but this turned out less cartoony than my usual style. Maybe it’s because I used photo reference, which is pretty rare for me. I got inspired by all the artists I’ve been seeing on youtube drawing Instagram babes. This is from a pic of a model named Angela Martinez. Go check out her Instagram: @angelasburgers

Well, so where do we go from here? Not sure I’ll keep drawing but we’ll see. I’ll post another when inspiration strikes me again.
