I found it! Scanned this in the late 90's. It has 3 pen types ball point, felt tip, and my favorite sharpie.

Scribbled on a napkin. The doodle has been cropped into a digital redo some place deep in my deviant archives.

Its called synapse because I kept thinking about digital grow synapse as memory cells for computers. Which introduced my ideas of fictional nanites as art in my galleries as well. Always nice to slip back into the past to see where the ideas all came from.
